Stay Under Budget with iStock Promo Codes

Stock image photo services are not always the cheapest item on your list when it comes to marketing expenses. They are one of the most essential, making any stock photo image subscription one of your primary investments and an integral part of your marketing plan.

Not everybody has the luxury of spending a couple hundred dollars per month on these images. In fact, some will of the best advice anyone can give you when it comes to marketing brand-new businesses is to not spend money before you make money. Although that situation may be ideal, it is not always possible. For many people, their marketing budgets must be strictly adhered to.

It is these people that I’m trying to reach today. There are those who have limited marketing budgets – I know because I used to be one of them. In a very real sense, I still am as my marketing expenses are always on a budget. Although stock photos are an essential part of any marketing plan, there are ways to stay under budget.

The monthly pricing model for most stock photo imaging services often leaves business owners with limited marketing budgets feeling pressured to purchase and download images before a subscription runs out. This can lead to unplanned, hasty decisions. As a fellow business owner myself, I can understand firsthand the danger of making a marketing decision without thinking of where it first. Every business owner goes into business with a plan and making unplanned decisions are never in that plan.

If you have a strict marketing budget, a flexible pricing plan might be best for you. Instead of paying monthly for a certain amount of images, it might be better if you were to purchase credits. The pricing model for iStock photo’s imaging service allows you to do just that. Instead of paying a monthly fee, these do not expire. This is the best business model to follow if you don’t need several of images every month. What if you only need an image every other month? This is an excellent way to start.

If you wanted to have even more room in your budget, consider the exclusive relationships that Stock Photo Secrets maintains with various stock image photo sites. Stock Photo Secrets runs various promotions for several of the market’s stock photo imaging services. iStock promo codes for 2015, as offered by Stock Photo Secrets, enable new users to receive discounts on credit packs up to 15% off. Every business maintains a marketing budget, as no business is in the business of wasting money that can otherwise be saved.

Is Adobe Stock Something for my Business?

July 28, 2015 By Shane Russell

adobeWhen a name as huge as Adobe gets into a business like stock photography, it can feel like the world is changing and nothing will be the same.  But if you look closely at Adobe Stock and the price points for their different image options, how much has really changed?  Is Adobe really selling stock photography in a new or unique way, and is it a smart choice for your business?  Read on for our look at what’s new and what’s not from Adobe Stock, and how the service can and can’t help your business.

Adobe Stock’s Pricing Models

pricing

Just like most traditional stock photo vendors, Adobe Stock offers imagery on two different standard pricing models.  Adobe sells individual images for a $9.99 premium, which isn’t a terrible deal but isn’t the best one around for on demand imagery either.  If you need more images and will be using them regularly, you can sign up for a subscription service and have a ton of images delivered to you every month.  Adobe offers 10 images a month for $49.99, or 10 images for $29.99 with an Adobe Creative Cloud account.  Or, if you need a massive number of images, you can get 750 images for $199.99.  If Adobe’s pricing models look pretty similar to a lot of other vendors, that’s no coincidence: Adobe based their pricing points on industry standards, and didn’t shake the boat as far as pricing goes.

What Does Adobe Stock do Differently?

different

Adobe isn’t bringing much new to the table as far as pricing goes, but it does provide some new and innovative services for business owners hoping to get the most out of their stock photography.  With Adobe’s app integration, you can do a lot with your proprietary Adobe stock photography from inside of programs like Photoshop and Illustrator.  There are some innovative features in Adobe’s new offerings, but pricing isn’t something that Adobe is doing differently.

Is Adobe’s Stock Photography Right For Your Business?

business

If you are a small business owner considering the new services offered by Adobe, keep in mind that from a pricing perspective Adobe isn’t doing anything differently.  Subscription plans can be great for large business owners who need a lot of pictures, but for small and medium sized users that just want a good per image deal, vendors like Adobe don’t offer a good compromise.  That’s why we have developed solutions at StockPhotoSecrets like our $99 club and other plans.  Adobe might be right for your business, but only if you already use or intend to use a stand subscription style service.
